About

Engineering trust in intelligent systems.

Aplark builds intelligent software infrastructure that helps mission-critical systems be tested, evaluated and operated with greater confidence in complex environments.

Mission

To help mission-critical systems demonstrate — with rigorous, traceable evidence — that they are ready for the environments they operate in.

Vision

To make intelligent systems trustworthy enough to operate in the real world.

The bigger story

Computers processed information. Networks connected it. AI began to understand it. What is starting now is different in kind: autonomous systems that act in the physical world, where a wrong inference is not an error message but an accident.

The infrastructure for that transition does not exist yet. Traditional software assurance assumes a specification you can trace to code, and a learned component does not have one in that sense. Benchmark accuracy, which is what the field currently reports, describes performance on a sample somebody chose — not readiness for an operational domain.

Aplark exists to build the missing layer: the infrastructure that tests, simulates, assures and continuously verifies mission-critical AI before and after deployment. We start with defence AI assurance and simulation, and expand into aerospace, space and autonomous systems.

The philosophy

Perceive, learn, reason, act, verify, adapt. The loop is not novel. What is usually missing in practice is the fifth step — a verification stage that produces evidence someone outside the programme can check.

Without it, adaptation cannot be distinguished from drift, and confidence cannot be distinguished from familiarity.

What we will not do

These are architectural commitments, not positioning. Each one costs us something, which is how you can tell they are real.

We will not produce what we evaluate

No Aplark tool that generates data, renders simulation, trains or tunes a model sits inside the assurance product’s trust boundary. Output from our own generation tools enters with no privileged status and the same evidentiary burden as any third-party source.

We will not reduce readiness to a score

No composite score, rating or grade appears in any Aplark material, internal or external. Readiness is six dimensions assessed against a named criticality level, and collapsing them into one number destroys the only information that matters.

We will not soften an undemonstrable claim

Where a required residual failure rate cannot be demonstrated within any realistic budget, the platform says so in those words, quantifies the shortfall in orders of magnitude, and offers the two actions that actually exist. It never presents an unreachable sample count as though it were achievable.

We will not phone home

No telemetry from a customer installation, ever — including for our own product metrics. Those are gathered through design-partner interviews and voluntary export review instead. It is a permanent constraint and we state it to investors rather than let them discover it.

We will not make the deployment decision

The platform evaluates policy and produces a signed decision record. A human accountable for the outcome makes the call. That boundary is permanent.

Where things live

All infrastructure operated by us, and all data stored by us, is resident in India.
